Young Adults Christmas Party

Its that time of the year. Bring out your ugliest christmas sweater! Complete the outfit and you could win a prize. We will be giving prizes out to the two best christmas sweater outfits. This years Young Adult Christmas Party begins at 7:00 pm. Don't forget to bring a white elephant gift (value of $5) Here are a few pictures of last years christmas party. Oh come let us go caroling...

You won't want to miss Young Adults this Tuesday night. We are going out caroling! Please meet at the church at 7:00pm. We will warm up our voices and head out. It is going to be a great time. Don't forget to dress warm. Christmas attire is encouraged!!

Worship is....

True worship is God-centered worship. People tend to get caught up in where they should worship, what music they should sing in worship, Or "the music is not loud enough", "worship went way too long" and how the worship looks to other people. Focusing on these things completely misses the point. Jesus tells us that true worshipers will worship God in spirit and in truth (John 4:24). This means we worship from the heart and the way God has designed. Worship can include praying, reading God's Word with an open heart, singing and serving others. It is not limited to one act, but is done properly when the heart and attitude of the person is in the right place. That is our hearts desire with our young adults, to touch the heart of God.

We are group of Young Adults who are not satisfied with the status quo.While most of our generation lives life by accident,we know that God has given us purpose. There is a reason we are alive.We love to have fun and we love to be extreme.We are exteme not just because we can be,but bceause we need to be if we expect God to move in our generation and world.Our number one desire is to capture the heart of God and then to put His heart into action through our actions.After all,what good is truth if we aren't going to use it.
